I Don’t Know What I Was Thinking
I’m hurting. I went on a bender last night. Can a bender be limited to only one evening? I guess not. It must have been a binge. I’ve been burning the candle at both ends. It’s wearing on me. To raise my spirits, and give myself a little boost, I went ahead and drank half a pitcher of homemade iced tea.
I was up until at least two a.m. I probably would have been up all night if it weren’t for the Sleep With Me podcast. (That’s a great podcast for falling to sleep with. You should check it out.) What rest I did manage last night was fitful, and I found myself awake again for the day well before dawn.
Tonight I plan to do the sensible thing by drinking a pint and a half of Butchertown India Black Ale and watching Futurama until I fall asleep on the couch. Sleep should be here any minute now.
