The Plan
I’m switching things up on this here blog. Momentarily. The structure of photo, three or four paragraphs, and a song has grown stifling, or at least stiff, over the years. The whole bit where I have to log in to a half dozen platforms to let everyone know I “created content” doesn’t work for me either. I’m not an influencer and do not aspire to such.
Instead, I plan to post whatever I feel like as it occurs to me, and maybe I’ll mention it, but mostly I won’t bother. At some point soon, probably this weekend, I’ll set up an RSS feed. I’ll create an email distribution list for friends and family to replace the Ghost.io newsletter. And it might be fun to create an integration to post updates directly to my Mastodon account.1 I think that’s enough, though. We’ve all got better things to do than putz around on the internet all day and night.2
