Asymmetrical Warfare

A small white spider stakes his claim to my patio table. I am thousands of times larger than him and yet he dances aggressively to chase me off. This is no bluff. Heโs got every intention of running up on my spot.
I hold up my coffee mug before him. Rather than retreat, he advances on it quickly. I move the cup away, and he pursues with vigor. I move it gently towards him once more, and he leaps, striking the mug with everything heโs got. Unfazed, I hold the cup steady. He leaps and strikes again. And then again. Here is a spider who means business. A true gangsta.
A short blast from the hose launches him into the distance.
Go dry off, little killer. This is my patio now.
