Prelude to Deluge

I’m pondering what to do with my Sunday. The remnants of Isaias are drifting through the area. Rain is expected for most if not all the day. This would be a good time to catch up on the chores. There’s always something that needs cleaning. It’s Sisyphean.

I think I’ll walk along the river first. Take some photos in the rain. It will be a shorter walk. I’m getting over a bursitis flare-up in my hip. That happens every three or four years.

Today probably isn’t a good day for bird photography. There isn’t enough light for my 150–600mm lens to work effectively. Birds don’t generally care for rain, either. I, on the other hand, love the rain. Splashing about in it will be nice, even if only for a little.

First things first, I need to pry myself away from this sofa.
