Stay Up All Night

I’ve decided the site is going to look pretty much like this here. I wound up throwing the whole thing in Drupal. I know; I know. I hate Drupal. But it was very fast to develop and deploy this custom solution. It took me about 5 or 6 hours to knock out a simple back-end, convert the site layout into a theme, and drag over my old content by hand. I like to imagine that I could have coded the entire back-end from scratch in 5 or 6 hours, if I rushed it, but it certainly wouldn’t be nearly as nice or complete. I only wish the CMS didn’t use so much code and resources just to get off the ground. There’s about 100 times more code here than this site needs. But again, it was crazy fast to deploy.
