It’s 6 o’clock. Already dark. The day was cold and grey. I didn’t get outside much. I’d like to hibernate. Humans don’t hibernate. Instead, I made peposo pizza for dinner, which is precisely what it sounds like.1 It was wonderful.
I don’t know what to do now. As mentioned, it’s cold and dark and grey and dark and grey and cold and dark and grey. Even so, the briefest nap at this hour would result in my waking all throughout the night. That’s no good. I’m working early tomorrow.
I could kill the time doing chores. There are always chores I could do. I already took the trash out. That’s the only chore I needed to do. That’s the only chore I am doing tonight. Dishes be damned!
I might do some art. I’ve started taking an online watercolor class and an online drawing class. I’ve only done a few of the lessons but already I’m improving in both domains. More so with watercolor. Splash, splash.
The “studio” might wake me up. I have lots of lighting down there, including three 12,000-lumen shop lights adjusted to 5000K. You can see my basement from space. But it’s all the way over there…
