The Weather is Warming
I finally got out for a decent walk today. It’s -8ºC, which is comfortable for me. Anything below -11ºC gets me annoyed, but eight below feels quite nice.
I planned to write a blog post this morning about how using the Internet too much alters one’s perception of reality. People begin to inhabit a world made up of ideas about the world, trapping themselves in an alternate universe of concepts and intellections. It’s seductive.
However, I spent the time allotted for that on unfuxxing my laptop instead. iCloud Drive decided to mangle my Documents folder, deleting and corrupting everything in its path. I can’t not recommend iCloud Drive enough. Seriously ungood software.
Speaking of software that could be better, I’ll try to fix the mobile view of this website over the next few days. I think I need to break down and create my own theme for Astro, rather than patch every nook and cranny of this off-the-shelf layout.
