Farewell, Bohemia

It was bound to happen eventually. Iโm officially civilized. Domesticated, even. They delivered my dining table and chairs today. Owning four chairs and a table just to eat at is bad enough, but then I went so far as to throw a tablecloth over the damn thingโto protect it!
Iโm about settled into this suburban lifestyle. I have most of the things I need to survive comfortably for a long while. I found someone to mow the yard for something like an affordable price. A pretty girl smiled and waved to me from her car this morning.1 Itโs not so bad as they say. It really isnโt.
Iโm making good progress turning the basement into an art studio. It needed a lot of cleaning and clearing out. I even had to buy a shop vacuum for the purpose. I should be painting or something soon. At least I hope so.
I still need to wrap up my Philly move-out: grab the last of my odds and ends, clear out the fridge, clean the place well, etc. That should be all done by Tuesday. I hand over the keys on Wednesday.

She was definitely waving at me. Your guess is as good as mine. ๐คทโโ๏ธ โฉ
